W20D1 – Bathroom Ceiling in and plans for the week

Monday brings the plasterboard and battens to set out the roofing for the bathroom – managed to get the insulated boards so the walls could also go on and the room is starting to take shape at last.  Also whilst this going on, outside the patio slabs was started to be laid – big thick 2inch 600x600mm slabs 😉  Was very much a ball breaking job for Tim, he also got soaked as the area was quite boggy and spent the best part of the day on his knees.

Work started on building the frame for the stud walls in the bathroom.

After the day was done, and all tools put away ans the builders left – the heavens opened and rained upon Tim’s patio – lots of the mix was washed away, but all slabs seemed to be in the right places.
