W17D3 – Bye Bye Chimney – and up with more roofing bits…

8am there was a lot of noise as the sound of the builders hammering crap out of the chimney stack.  Well that woke us up and all but Ffion emerged from their pits.  If truth be known, Claire and I was already up but makes it sound a bit better.  So now we have a nice hole in the roof where the stack used to be and is in the process of being filled in with roofing tiles.

Before the end of the day, the roofers managed to get the front felt and battened and next doors part of the roof back on to a position where it does not look like there ever was a chimney stack.  Coming along nicely and looking towards another hopefully productive day tomorrow.
