W12D2 – Some more steels…. and lumber arrives

The beam for the side of the kitchen was installed today and for the front of the extension also.  All looking like going to plan for the moment, but we’ll see how that goes.

There was also a delivery of the joists and hangers ready for the morning for the Chippies to get to grips and put the upper flooring in so we can string some lengths of scaffold planks for the brickies to work up towards the roof.

Talking of scaffolding, Dennis spoke with Gemma next door to see what the issue was with the scaffolding and she just wanted to see the cover letter for the builders insurance to cover the work.  I think that she is looking to make a claim so have taken a few more photos to record the state of the property.
