W10D5 – Roof Shell for the Kitchen sorted

Well today saw a couple of things – a nice day off for me – well it should have been – I disassembled my shed from the back and took all the scrap metal around the front, (Claire assisted me in that one).  We then had our wood delivered for the fences so that was excellent – Claire, Ffion and I moved this from the front of the house to the rear…  Loads of boards and lots of sawdust to get in the eyes….

As far as the building goes, The Builders sent over the chippies today to get on with the roof trusses for the kitchen to allow us to set the area for waterproofing and steels when we get them next week.  It was decision time twice in 10 minutes – the drawings did not allow to scale the velux windows and they was a little large for the surrounding structure so we have decided to get smaller ones, but we are going for solar powered ones that open and close via RF.  Extra £500 for the pair, but worth it in the end I suppose….
