W05D3 – Pink Floyd would be proud…

Ok so the majority of the outer shell for the kitchen is now up and we are at the point of possibly laying off the builders until I can get agreement from the neighbours and DCWW to move this bloody pipe.

Again for the 4th time I contact DCWW to speak with Colin but again he is unavailable and I am waiting for one of his colleagues to speak to a manager to chat to me.  I push the issue with the receptionist and eventually get to speak to DCWW.

What a refreshing change to speak to a non arsehole for once.  I was informed that there is no need to get my neighbours involved as soon as it leaves their property it’s a public sewer.  One obstacle over, next is the actual planning permission.  I explain what has happened and he is quite gobsmacked by the whole thing.  After I say I do not want Colin dealing with the diversion, it comes to light that Colin is leaving and doesn’t look like it’s under his own steam.

So the upshot is Brian (New DCWW) will look at the application tomorrow and get the paperwork sorted, and we should be good to go within a week or two – RESULT !!!  now just to keep the builders on side.
