W05D1 – Awaiting DCWW and Neighbours to pull their fkin fingers out!

Over the weekend I presented my neighbour – Gemma, a letter to sign as she didn’t seem very forthcoming about giving me a letter of her agreement for us to proceed with the works.  Claire came over with me to see if she could work any magic.

Initially all I can say is that my neighbour is very ignorant, she stood on the doorstep with her dog in her arms bouncing all over the place, her kid running about the place and not really paying much attention to the situation at hand.

I asked if she had signed the document and she had been very busy, pointing to her kid.  Then she said she was advised by Colin of Welsh Water not to sign the document – the same person who told us to gain the permission for the DCWW plan to build under her house !!!!  But did not explain why.  Things do not seem to be on the level here and I need to get to the bottom of this quick…

When we asked what the issue was she mentioned something about the drainage check on the survey being problematic and did not want to sign off on the work.  It was all I could do not the smack the fucker in the face.  I asked her if she contacted my architect as he had the relevant drawings and details – she said no.  Only DCWW and was waiting for her drains to be adopted as they had issues.

So, today I tried calling DCWW but apparently Colin is unavailable for comment regarding the 12 Elm Grove situation.

On the bright side, It’s pissing down so very little work can be done, however there has been a deliver of stuff to the property to start build should the feeling take the builders….
