W03D5 – Welsh Water you are taking the piss….

OK so here we are on the warmest day of the year and my builders are on stop. I have been led to believe, by my architect, that all is swimming in the world of DCWW and agreement is imminent. So I call DCWW and speak to Colin Evans.

Apparently not, he says that it was his colleague that dealt with the meeting and he is not aware of the status of the requests as he has not received any drawings. I can safely say these have been sent and received. He also stated that there was a bit of a lead-time on the approval and could take as long as 6-8 weeks to resolve. Also that there was no guarantee that the plans would be accepted on the first application.

Therefore I am going to have to let my builders figure out what work that they can do…. and take it from there – there is pretty much fukkall that they can do without the drainage being put in.
