W03D1 – Work has resumed…

Lovely sunny day again….  Work has resumed on the build.

Digger is running and now excavating the rear of the property ready for the foundations to be poured.

Next door has queried about the calculations for the drop off of the pipe from their property – Architect is to liaise with the Engineer on the relevant hydraulic calculations.

And there the good news ends for today …… 🙂

Now we have a full set for damages to the utilities – Today it is the turn of WATER – Looks like the water pipe from the curb has been hit round the back as there is now water pissing everywhere…..  Shower anyone ??

Stop cock off at the street, time to repair…   It has to be said these poor buggers are not getting any luck with the haphazard manner that Wimpey placed the utilities in this build….

Builders went to get dumper and some copper pipe as the existing water pipe needs repair – so I’ve not had any water since 9am today.  Awaiting repairs….
