W23D1 – Boarding up Dans Room and Prep for Plastering.

Today was a day for chaos and Mayhem. The Electricians was inbound and that can only mean one thing. Darran2 and his verbal diarrhoea 🙂 He’s a lovely chap but he can fucking chat the hind legs off a donkey. The cables and tails for the junction box was put in today and all the rest of the first fix for the rewire – looking to be about an extra £1,400 give or take – but then we’ll have a full rewire certificate at the end of the day…

In order to get some wires through to the junction box, there was to be a little bit of temporary remodelling to the kitchen wall.

As for the Other Darran and Joe, Dan’s room has been boarded and the ceiling has been plastered. Looking really good. Dan cannot wait to get in and make it his big hovel.
