W21D5 – Penultimate Knock through and another new room..

The bathroom and toilet walls was knocked through today and we can now see how big Dan’s room is going to be.  Might have to steal that room for myself 🙂

Stairs delivered today, but unable to fit as we needed to remove a lot more rubble from upstairs.  The stairs are due to be fitted Tuesday morning and finished in time for the lino chap to come and install lino in bathroom.  We’ll see if the timings fit on the day 😉

Whilst taking the walls down, the loft needed clearing and space made for the steels to go in.  These have been put in place now, but in-so-doing one of the builders got a nasty smack on the forehead from a brick.  Patched him up and checked on him whilst the other builders got on with the rest of the removals.

The Bathroom is now in use even though not finished and we really need the shower to be sorted asap now.
