W21D1 – Lights – Bathrooms and Windows..

Ok, today there was a lot of activity and people in the house and as you can imagine, also a lot of running into people.  The 2 sparkies was running the cables into the kitchen, bathroom and putting the spots into the bathroom.  They also wired in the fan and socket in the bathroom for further use changing it to a shaver socket when the have one.  There was some temporary wiring of the lights to a socket in the kitchen until the rest can be sorted.  Unfortunately it looks like we need to have a bit of a rewiring session and that is going to cost an arm and a leg me thinks…

Ok the front of the house saw the plastic cladding onto the garage and porch area and seems to finish off the look to the front.  The rear of the house saw some TLC today and the roof and Velux went in today.  Solar windows and a nice control panel to control it too 😉  Toys!!! 🙂

The chaps knocked off at about 4 and there was still more to be done as the plumber turned up about 5ish and put the bath and shower base in.  I had to nip to tool station as I had bought the wrong shower trap – or more precisely had the right one for the shower enclosure I WAS going to get.

Called B&Q to rearrange the delivery and there appears to be some issues ???  Will know more tomorrow.
