W30D1 – Catch up from the past two weeks..
I’ve missed a couple of weeks update as I have just not been in the right frame of mind as things started to spiral….
So to state story so far…
- Electrics are complete. The rewire and new work all completed – all lights sockets etc done.
- Daniel’s room has been painted and looks absolutely amazing – good paint choice and the new light looks lovely.
- Kitchen Walls and ceiling painted – second coat for walls today.
- Ffion has a new light, same as Dans, but there is an issue – the remotes are not on separate channels and therefore operate both rooms – as we do not want all out light-war – Ffion will have to have another one.
- The Flooring is complete downstairs and looks really good. It’s not as cold as I expected.
- Back is completed and looks the business.
- Living room plastered – still a patch to do on the new wall to complete the room though..
- Delivery of another skip – skip company damaged kerb stones.
So what’s left to complete ?
- Breakfast bar
- Sun Pipe in the Landing ceiling.
- Painting
- Doors upstairs
- Plumbing toilet and fixing the shower door.
- Front Steps – Drainage and front garden.
And there is the Final chuckle – Penis-Gate – The Gas Pipe from the mains cupboard to the Boiler just looks wrong…. !!
