W27D1 – Plumbing, Stud Wall and Cracks in the Plaster..

Plumber came over today as promised but is still shy of completing the required tasks to finish the job.

  • Today we have the Sink and dishwasher in – and waste to outside sorted.
  • The outside tap was completed also above the drain to the rear.
  • We managed to get the dining room rad on the wall, but yet to be installed.

Meanwhile we plastered the stairs and some of the garage ceiling and even started on removing some of the compo that was put at the back of the main patio in readyness to complete the patio out the back.  Darran only just learned that the rear wall was being rendered and coping stones laid as part of the job.

The Lounge side of the stud wall was plaster boarded and blue-grit on the walls, however in the process of this being completed there has now formed a massive and deep crack in the plaster.  This was from Joe fixing the plasterboards and knocking the excess plaster from the lounge side.  This will need to be remedied before sign-off and final payments.
