W25D5 – Study, Kitchen Cabinets and Utilities….

The stud walls and boxing was done for the study today – finally taking some shape in there Neil and Joe was over today.  I asked Rob Parfitt to come over to discuss where we was on the additional spend and also to quote for some extra work that was needed this was a good discussion and a difficult one for Rob as he had quite some down time at the beginning of the job and I agreed to meet him half way on covering the downtime.  All in all we have an overspend of 15k, but that includes the work to the roof and the dining room that was not originally included.

Neil worked like a madman on the cabinets and managed to  get quite a number of them built and ready for the carpenters to come monday to fit the kitchen – can’t wait.  However we needed the kitchen ceiling done before this and was part of the additional work needed from Rob.  We agreed that this would be done on Saturday by Joe and Neil.

Flicka turned up also and plumbed in the Washer and now Claire is happy that we have our washer in situ for a change…
