W22D2 – Stairs and Floors – but still no shower.

Today we knocked out the stairs, the brickwork under the stairs and removed our makeshift breeze block stairs to the 2nd landing.  It took most of the day to get the stairs in, but they do really look nice now that they are in.

The chap turned up to do the lino flooring about 6pm and didn’t take him long and that also looks very nice – we need to get some skirting boards on there to finish it all off.

Brickwork on the walls between the new and old builds in Dan’s room was done and also the rad removed from the bathroom.  The walls have had the blue pre-grit on them ready to accept plaster – hopefully tomorrow 😉

Ahh well – we’ve been promised Flicka back tomorrow – so looks like we *may* have a shower.   I bloody hope so.
