W21D4 – Units, Flooring and Bedrooms…

Toilet fixed from yesterday – little leak but otherwise sorted.

Today we had the bathroom units to build and install to finish off the bathroom.  Problem 1 – unit 1 damaged and unusable – FECK !!!   Ok so called B&Q to see how soon it would be to get the replacement and would be 7 days plus – however looking at the actual sizing of the units and forgetting I had 2 reveal ends on there the socket for the radiator would have been inside the cupboard so I decided to cancel the cupboard and get money back.  The rest of the units went in well, still have to do the sink, but nevertheless the units are in, and looking good.

The flooring was ordered today and is due to be installed Tuesday next week, so will make sure we are out of there by then.

The stud walls was put in for Dan’s new room to allow the breaking of the existing walls and not to damage the new bathroom.

Old toilet wall knocked down, all tiles removed and the small section between bathroom and toilet knocked out.  Rubble cleared to skip and the room is starting to take a little shape.  Still have the wall adjoining Dan’s new room and old bathroom to knock out – but that’s going to be tomorrow I think.

Had my first bath in the new bathroom today 🙂
