W15D4 – Trusses turned up…. More bad news

Ok so the trusses turned up and was being fitted to the roof structure and I get a call from the builder….  The existing roof felt and battons are rotten and we are looking at a whole new problem – the roof will have to be replaced in it’s entirety. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!

That’s going to be about £5,000 unexpected costs and has wiped out the rest of the contingency and taken us into the red on this bloody project.  I am about done now I think……  Time to fuckoff fishing to relieve some stress……

The trusses are up and we are expecting deliveries and scaffolding Friday – but this week is a bit of another wasted week I think…..
