W13D2 – Rear roof felt and another error in the making…

Scaffolding is up next door and is looking lovely, at least that’s something we can cross off the list.

The kitchen roof has been felt and battoned – ready for tiling and windows soon I hope.

The front now looks like its ready to support some frame, but the walls are needing to be raised a bit – we are at sill height in a couple more courses.

However, today I may have spotted a small error in the plans.  It looks like my architect has fucked up a little on the placement of the existing soil pipes.  Now is not the best time to notice that we may have built ourselves into a hole…. I’m really not happy at the moment- it appears that on the ground floor the pipe is in the correct place, however on the 1st floor the pipe has “moved” by about a meter to the right.  It would not be a problem, but just fucking cancelled a cupboard that was suppose to be in that corner where I probably did not need to.

It’s now up to the builder to come up with a rescue plan to make sure that my study is not fucked up with pipes everywhere……
