W08D4 – Gorillas in the Malpas…

Today the builders shifted to help me out on a side job – we raised the wall out the back by 9 inches in order for us to get the grass laid in place.  Monies paid to the GorillaGrass team – hoping that this is not a bif fking mistake on my part.  But at least we should see the wall done and garden in a quality state by end of the weekend.

So today saw myself in the wars a little.  Initially I stood on the new drain manhole and noticed too late that the cover was off – fell inside it scraping crap outta my leg and also bruising my arse.  10 Minutes later I put a 6″ nail right through my foot and had to go to the doctors to get a Tetanus jab and get the wounds dressed.  Topping off the whole experience I decide that I would finish off the rest of the fence and fall through a rotten piece of decking – NO MORE DIY for me…..
