W01D1 – And so the story begins…

Week 1 – Day 1

Lovely sunshine – could not ask for a better day.

Decided to Work from home,(WFH), to make sure that things went ok today and to see how the proposed schedule of work would continue.  To check that the builders had everything they needed.

Builders turn up – “Excellent!!” and on time too ready to work, big digger arrives and let breaking ground commence.
Garage taken down, roofing steel kept as was fairly new and could be re-used.  Concrete base for the old shed taken up and broken to manageable chunks.  Slabs taken up and smashed and carried away.

All in all a successful day.
